Durbin/NANCSH Sexual Health Nurse of the Year Award

NANCSH (National Association of Nurses for Contraception and Sexual Health) and Durbin PLC have joined together to launch the first ever National Award specifically aimed at nurses working in Contraception & Sexual Health. A £1000 prize will be awarded to the nurse or group of nurses who are judged to have made the most valuable contribution to patient care, and who have followed accepted good practice in sexual health.

The first prize of £1000, donated by Durbin PLC, will be presented to the award winner at the NANCSH 2005 Symposium on Saturday 12 March 2005 in Birmingham. The winner will be asked to give a 15-minute presentation detailing his/her practice followed by a short interview. The winner will also need to be available to speak to delegates for 30 minutes at a stand within the exhibition at the Symposium.
